Saltburn in Bloom makes national finals

Saltburn in Bloom has reached the finals of a national competition.

Saltburn is taking part in the Northumbria in Bloom competition, with judging for that tasking place this week.

But Saltburn has also been entered as a national finalist into the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) Britain in Bloom competition, with the judging date on Thursday (August 1).

The town will be visited then by RHS Britain in Bloom judges to assess our entry as a Small Coastal Resort.

This is the first time in a number of years that Saltburn has entered the national competition representing the Northumbria region.

Saltburn’s competitors are the Island of Sark, Whitby, St Clement Jersey, St Andrew’s in Scotland and Hunstanton in East Anglia.
